Art

Since moving to Herefordshire in early 2021 my art has focused on rural life and work, and especially on farming.  This often starts with drawing as a way of getting to know the subject or activity, then progresses to pastel sketches and finally to acrylic paintings.  The work becomes increasingly abstract as it moves through these stages.  It never quite loses some of the original forms and colours, but it does take on a life of its own so new or related remembered features may appear.
